In 1773 when Johnson and Boswell left Glenelg, this
was the main ferry route and with the Skye Skye Toll Bridge now in operation, it is once
again the preferred crossing for the discerning traveller.
So, we invite you to follow in their footsteps and enjoy the picturesque tranquillity of this historic parish, where you have the chance of spotting seals and otters in their natural habitats.
