The tolls are now off and it is the end of a long hard-fought campaign for SKAT - oh, and it's Hogmanay!
SKAT members and their supporters are asked to gather at the Crofters Kitchen car park just outside of Kyleakin for 6.30 p.m. on the 31st December. From here will be the final drive across the bridge.
The party will then drive over the Bridge and meet up at the Lochalsh Hotel in Kyle, where fireworks will be set off to start the party at 7 p.m.
No doubt it will be hurricane winds and lashing rain but that has never dampened a party in THIS part of the world.
